Virginia Marriage License Information

Age Requirements	You must be 18 to get a marriage license in Virginia and you must provide a certified copy of your birth certificate as proof. If you are under 18, you must have written, notarized consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Cost of License	$30 **This information is always subject to change so please call and check before you go to get your license. You also need to check with the individual office for your locality as to what types of payment they will accept.
Waiting Period	None
License Validity	60 Days
Acceptable Identification	In addition to the certified copy of your birth certificate be prepared with one of the following forms of I.D.: Valid driver's license, military ID, state ID, or passport.
Blood Test	Not Required
Other Tests	Not Required
Residency	Not Required
